If you choose to use our services, or otherwise provide us with your credit card information, we use your address and billing information to bill you and provide associated support. You agree that we may use personally identifiable information about you to improve our marketing and promotional efforts, to analyse site usage, improve our content and product offerings, and customize our site's content, layout, and services. The following describes some of the ways that your personally identifiable information may be disclosed:

3.1 General.

Due to the existing regulatory environment, we cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personally identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. By way of example (without limiting the foregoing), we may be forced to disclose information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, or users may abuse or misuse your information that they collect from our site. Therefore, although we use industry standard practices to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personally identifiable information or private communications will remain private.

3.2 Legal Requests.

We cooperate with law enforcement inquiries, as well as other third parties to enforce laws, such as: intellectual property rights, fraud and other rights. We can (and you authorize us to) disclose any information about you to law enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate, in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringements, or other activity that is illegal or may expose us or you to legal liability. Further, we can (and you authorize us to) disclose your User ID, name, street address, city, county, post code, country, phone number, email, and company name (including, but not limited to your policy violations) to law enforcement as we in our sole discretion determine necessary or appropriate to enforce our Terms & Conditions.

4. How You Can Access and/or Change Your Information

We offer users the ability to review and change their information that they submit to us. You can access and edit your personal information that we collect from you by visiting the "Your Account" section. We require that you provide your user ID and password to access and/or alter any of your personal information. Generally, we will not modify your information based on your request because it is very difficult to authenticate your account manually. You can change your user ID, email address, contact and financial information. You must promptly update your information if it changes.

5. Newsletter

If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter, we require a user's email address. However, it is completely at your discretion to be removed from such a list as set out in our choice and opt-out section below.

6. Control of Your Password

You are responsible for all actions taken with your User ID and password, including fees. Therefore we do not recommend that you disclose your password to any third parties. If you choose to share your User ID and password or your information with third parties to provide you additional services, you are responsible for all actions taken with your user ID and password and therefore you should review that third party's privacy policy. If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personally identifiable information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately change your password.

7. Security

This website has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Security is our first priority and we are committed to maintaining this into the future. We use industry standard practices to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information, including "firewalls" and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This technology allows us to utilize advanced encryption in order to protect the information transmitted between your computer and our server. Through encryption, the personal information you enter, including your credit card details and personal information is securely dispatched over the Internet. We treat data as an asset that must be protected against loss and unauthorized access. We employ many different security techniques to protect such data from unauthorized access by users inside and outside the company.

8. Cookies

We use data collection devices called "Cookies", so that our web server can recognize your computer each time you return to this website. When you make selections or set preferences on our site, the site will send a request to your browser to record some of your selections in a "cookie" file. From time to time, our site will request the cookie from your browser so we can retrieve the stored information so that you do not have to repeatedly enter information such as your password. We also use cookies to help analyse web page flow, measure promotional effectiveness, and provide customized services to our customers. We never use cookies to store credit card details or other confidential information. A cookie is a small, plain text file which is sent to your browser from a web server and is stored locally on your hard drive. Cookies are a commonly used Internet technology and do not compromise the security of any information. Cookies are specific to the server that created them and cannot be accessed by other servers. Most cookies are "session cookies," meaning that they are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of a session. Most modern browsers support the use of cookies, and also provide the option to disable their use. You are always free to decline our cookies if your browser permits, although in that case you may not be able to use certain features on our site and you may be required to re-enter your password more frequently during a session.

9. Choice/Opt-Out

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, information about products and services and special deals, surveys, or promotional materials from us or our partners you may opt-out of receiving these communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in the relevant email or by contacting us.

10. Account Deactivation

Upon your request, we will deactivate your account, contact information, billing information, and financial information from our active databases. Such information will be deactivated as soon as reasonably possible based on your account activity and in accordance with our deactivation policy and applicable law. We will retain in our files information you have requested to remove in some circumstances, such as to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our Terms of Service. Further, such prior information is never completely removed from our databases due to technical and legal constraints, including stored "back up" systems. Therefore, you should not expect that all of your personally identifiable information will be completely removed from our databases in response to your requests.

11. Your Rights

In addition to the safeguards described above, your personal data is protected by the Data Protection Act. This provides amongst other things that the data we hold about you should be processed lawfully and fairly. It should be accurate, relevant and not excessive. The information should be kept up to date, where necessary, and not retained for longer than is necessary. It should be kept securely to prevent unauthorized access by other people. You have the right to see what is held about you and correct any inaccuracies online.

12. Your Consent

By submitting your information you consent to our use and disclosure of your personal information as set out in this Policy. Because the Internet infrastructure is global, and it is not possible to predict the routes that information sent over the Internet will take, the information you provide may be transferred temporarily via a route which takes it outside the United Kingdom area as it passes between you and us. By submitting your information you consent to this transfer.

13. Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this page so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email. The amended Privacy Policy must be accepted by any and all participants of the Ideal Media (UK) Ltd. website and its services. Your continued use of our service will signify your acceptance of the updated Policy.

If you have any questions concerning our Privacy Policy, please contact us.
